Win the bid to implement “Health Policy Initiative”

CIHP, Abt Associates, COHED and Boston University won the bid to implement “Health Policy Initiative” for Vietnam with supports from USAID/PEPFAR 2008-2012.

In 2008, senior staffs of CIHP has participated in proposal development and writing bidding document under the coordination of Abt Associates for the third phase of the Health Policy Initiative 2008-2012. Phase I and II of the HPI has been implemented by Constella Future International. In this bidding, Abt Associates was a coordinating agency and main organization leading the bid, CIHP and COHED were two Vietnamese local partners providing technical assistances on monitoring, evaluation, gender and empowerment; Boston University was US partners providing assistant on training and education.

After many bid assessment cycles, the proposal from Abt, CIHP, COHED and Boston University won the bid with the highest technical scores among those involving in the bid.

Mr. Vũ Công Nguyên, MD. MPH and Mrs. Bùi Thị Thanh Mai, MD. MSc will participate in implementing this project together with staffs from Abt Associates, COHED and Boston University.
