Modern Biostatistics methods and application in Data Analysis of Epidemiological Research Course

From 23rd June 2008 to 1st July 2008, CIHP has invited Professor Christopher H. Schmid, PhD to conduct “Modern Biostatistics methods and application in Data Analysis of Epidemiological Research Course” for Researchers from CIHP, National Institude of Nutrition, National Institude of Hygiene and Epidemiology, Tay Ho District Health Center, Khanh Hoa Provincial Health Services and Population Service International (PSI). The course focused on using the modern statistical package (SPSS15.0) to analyze data of different epidemiological researches such as cross sectional study, case-control, Randomize Controlled Trial, Cohort study and introduction the use of some modern statistical method such as Propensity Score, cluster analysis. Professor Christopher H. Schmid is the Professor of Medicine in Tufts University, Boston USA. He is also a Director of Biostatistic Research Center, Institute of Clinical Research and Health Policy Studies, Tufts Medical Center.
